Inside the pink-loving store, find brands such as Sperry Topsider, Yellow Box, and Ugg’s, “just to name a few,” as their windows say while you peruse their selection of hats and suited-to-Florida fashions.
Gumbo Limbo is the perfect store for any gift, accessory, or jewelry you may fancy, all with a coastal vibe and a purely Stuart twist. Owner, Patty O’Connell, began her store chasing a dream and as an “outlet for creativity.” With a welcoming and friendly atmosphere with someone always to greet you at the door, Gumbo Limbo is a local store with always changing selections and most assuredly something for everyone, hosting brands such as Alex and Ani and Capri Blue. Patty said that she wanted nowhere else than downtown Stuart for her fun, sea-themed gift store. “I never wanted it in any ordinary strip mall on US1. Downtown Stuart is just naturally quaint,” she told us, and her store fits right in on Osceola Street in the heart of downtown.
April Daze boutique is downtown’s most artsy store, offering a wide selection of retro-inspired brands and knacks. Lucky Brand, Hard Tail, and Free People’s most exciting fashions are arranged throughout the store, and its hippie and happy vibe is pervasive. Enjoy their free-spirited selections of accessories including bandanas, scarves, and socks, all with April Daze’s signature spunk and style. Offering fine wines, gifts, and bohemian home décor, this boutique is a must-visit in downtown Stuart.
